Ferragamo Varina Flats

 I love the Ferragamo "Varina" Flats.  It's wonderful that they brought them back.  When I was much younger, in the 80's, we wore these.  They had a higher heel back then and came in less colors.  I had a black pair and a pale pink pair and wore them with everything.  But I had a more formal lifestyle then. 
 
Don't you just love it when a classic comes back?

    I have only one pair, in brown leather, and they take me through fall very happily.

    As a Virginian, you know what "Varina" signifies, don't you? For those who don't: she was the First Lady of the Confederacy, Varina Davis, and she was so strong and so graceful that people have named towns after her.
