It's a blustery day in Virginia, cold winds, overcast skies, very much like a normal December day. While it's difficult right now to get in the Christmas spirit, here are a few things that always remind me of the holiday season.....
The Vienna Boys' Choir, a favorite for the holidays. Listen to them here:

This is a great CD for the holidays if you like their music:
Dewey's Moravian Sugar Cake, which will give you a sugar high for sure, but heat it ever so slightly and serve it with coffee for breakfast on Christmas morning.
Moravian Cookies, from Old Salem, a favorite for generations.
I personally prefer the sugar cookies, but you can't eat just one. Trust me!
Moravian Stars hanging on front porches right after Thanksgiving until New Years....
Going to the Candle Tea at Home Moravian Church in Old Salem where you get a mug of coffee, a Moravian Bun and a Moravian Candle.
Old fashioned Christmas candy!
Truman Capote's A Christmas Memory, a great gift to give at the holidays!
Stay safe!
