There's Lots to Love in Lexington

Virginia, that is.  That's a small corner in the town near where I live.  The store is very cute, full of fun frocks and stuff you never knew you needed, until now.

Virginia magazine recently profiled the sleepy little town and makes seem far more artsy than it is, IMHO, but our restaurants are improving with the addition recently of Haywood and Taps and two newly renovated hotels. We are in dire need of more cute shops, a nice ladies clothing store that caters to those over 20 and under 50 and of course, a needlepoint store.  And that cute little chestnut mare in the photo, Alfie and I show against that one frequently.

You can see the article here.  Come for a visit!

  1. The first house my husband and I shared was juuuuuuuuuust behind this corner, across the street from the Red Hen and next to the Visitors Center. Many wonderful memories from Lex Vegas!
