Designer Julie Bova has let her equestrian lifestyle influence her home collection for Stanford Furniture. She embellished the Yonkers ottoman, the Shire end table and the Wildaire mirror with a horse bit detail. Don't you just love it? Subtle yes, but with big impact. Speaks a bit Gucci to me; it works!
I am loving the influence on design right now. These pieces would look equally well in a nice tack room as well.
(some photos are from Dovecote Decor)
You can go to the Stanfordfurniture.com website for more information on these pieces (but I have not been able to access it for a few days, fyi). Happy Thursday!
Wow! One of each please!!!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the real bit details on the pillows and ottoman, although the family might find that a hair over the top (they are kind enough to put up with the rest of my equestrian decorating so I don't want to push my luck :-). Regarding Madame Designer, am I allowed to hate her just a tiny bit for being a) wealthy, b) gorgeous and c) an apparent size 2 after four children??? Augh...
