Dean Smith RIP

Dean Smith and my dad are hanging out in heaven talking about ACC basketball.  It wasn't lost on me that Dean passed one year after my dad, in the same week.  They were the same age.  He was special, they don't make them like him anymore.......

ACC Commissioner John Swofford - "Sometimes the word legend is used with too little thought. In this instance, it almost seems inadequate. He was basketball royalty, and we have lost one of the greats in Dean Smith.”
