While some may get the winter blues, I get the "winter itch to stitch" as it's the only time I have to needlepoint. Farm chores take up all my extra hours once the grass turns to green. This pillow took a short time to finish this winter and I love how it turned out. It will go in the newly updated guest bedroom which features the salmon color, turquoise and bright green. Love it. It was so easy to stitch and the finishers are so creative these days.
Here's the original canvas, unstitched, with just one large initial. I thought it needed two initials, smaller in size. I bought this at Adornment Needlepoint but you can get this anywhere and you can easily change the colors. I did the background fret design in a grayish blue, not a deep royal blue as I had the thread already.
That is so pretty!
