More Lilly Love
I love Lilly. Every year the design team somehow finds ways to keep this old iconic brand interesting and fresh. And the vintage stuff I'll never get tired of. You can wear this outfit below if you are 15 or 50.

Low Country Luxe Candles
A recently discovered brand, Low Country Luxe, makes luxurious candles with an incredible scent. With names like "High Cotton" and "Like Oak" you have to love the name as well as the scent.
High Cotton and Live Oak are my favorites but you might also love Moonshine.
Or Gullah
Or Belle of the Ball......
These are going to replace Lafco as my "candle of choice" and they'll make great hostess or birthday gifts. Who can't use a great smelling candle in lovely packaging? You can shop the collection here.

You Know It's Almost Memorial Day When.....
It's almost Memorial Day Weekend and the start of summer. It's a wonderful time of year, a weekend we all look forward to. So, how do you know it's here......
1) The Devon Horse Show
The mecca (other than Upperville) for Horse Show Aficianados. If you are near the Main Line by all means make the trip. It's a fun trip for even those who aren't into the horse show scene.
2) The Real Stanley Cup Playoffs Start
The final playoff game is tonight. Hoping Sidney Crosby can work his magic one more time at home in Pittsburgh.
3) White Jeans?
I wear white jeans about eight months of the year, but some people still wear white only after Memorial Day.
4) Outdoor Entertaining
I actually started dining on the patio a few weeks ago, but once Memorial Day rolls around, it's patio dining seven days a week and I love it. These monogrammed pineapple plates would be lovely on the patio for sure. See them here.
5) You Don't Think Wearing Lilly is Silly Anymore
Who doesn't love wearing Lilly? I've been wearing my Lilly popovers for about a month or two now, but you can pull out the shift dresses officially. Isn't this one cute?
6) Jack Rogers Come Out of the Closet

Net-a-Porter Sale Picks
I'm not a frequent Net-a-Porter shopper, but for a special occasion or when they have sales, it's a good place to visit. The service is good, shipping is free and you can find clothes here you don't see other places. Here are some of my sale picks.....

Pippa Middleton's Gift Registry?
The fairy tale wedding of Pippa Middleton and James Matthews appeared picture perfect in the photos that upstaged the Preakness among other things this past weekend. She looked ravishing and I am sincerely hoping that she'll influence brides to be for years to come in making a "traditional" wedding all the rage once again. She looked astonishing in her bespoke Giles Deacon gown.
What would you buy this young couple for a wedding gift? Is Pippa as traditional as she appears to be? For the couple who probably "has everything" what in the world would you bring to the wedding? Here are some of my picks. I believe she's a traditional bride who likely selected china, silver, linens, and household items that will fit in nicely with her lovely home in London.
This Alpaca Throw would fit in nicely nestled around her animals while lounging on a couch.
I don't think anyone minds getting a piece of Herend. A bunny is always a good choice because who doesn't love rabbits?
Is Pippa into Chinoiserie? Even if she's not, who would not love a piece of this hand-painted glassware?
For those photos of that lovely dress, she could certainly use one of these.
I would love to receive this. James looks like a Bourbon and Water kind of guy.
(Decanter)
You can never go wrong with crystal and I love the crystal bowls that I received as wedding presents years ago, the kind of thing you'd never buy for yourself but you love using.
This English Staghorn Flatware makes a fabulous gift.
This picnic basket for two is a great gift for a young couple (and I have this in mind for someone).
And then there's china. I wonder what patterns she would have picked out? I have no idea but here are a few that I am loving.....and you can never have too much china, that's for sure!

The Keswick Lead Line Class
Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words. This is from the Lead Line Class at the Keswick Horse Show on Saturday night. Everyone walked home with a blue ribbon but my hunch is this one would have been the real winner. This is a medium or large pony. The rider was fully decked out in side saddle attire as was the lady who lead her around. Priceless.
