Hi there. Stumbled across your great blog the other day searching online for equestrian china. Have been reading on and off since then and just finished. As a native of Middleburg and Upperville growing up and attending Hill School in the 50s and 60s, it's been fun being reminded of the good ole days. I was never a serious rider like a few of my friends were and still are, but I had ponies and rode all the time with my friends summer and winter. Every year my friends and I ravaged the Upperville Horse Show at a time when there was no real need for concern for kids running around unsupervised. In fact for a couple of years I was in classes that were called "lead-line classes." Point to points were another favorite. Everything was so much more relaxed and casual then - as little kids we had the free run of the place.Fun memories...
