End of Summer Marks The Hampton Classic

I've been very busy these early days of September with house guests for Labor Day and then a great trip to New York for the US Open, an annual ritual with an old friend.  And I'm off again this morning for another quick long weekend.  Promise I'll make up for it!

But that annual event, that marks Labor Day and the end of summer (not the mention the social event at the Hamptons, the Hampton Classic Horse Show) came to an end over the weekend.

Congratulations to Kent Farrington who took home the blue ribbon in the $250,000 FTI Grand Prix. (Photos are from NY Social Diary).

The Hampton Classic is a must see if you happen to be in that part of the world end of summer.  Not to mention the best people watching (along with some celebrities and socialites) but the horses are pretty good too.

The best part, however, is the table decorations.  I've pulled some for you to see.  It's fun to see what people come up with, year after year.  Not sure which one is my favorite.  But enjoy!

Those tables! Just print them out and copy them for the rest of your life!
