It's with great sadness that a great horse has crossed the rainbow bridge. Graf Rossini S, a very fine grand prix horse, ridden to many wins by my old trainer, Mary Lisa Leffler. He made the cover of Vicky Moon's book,
A Sunday Horse, about the grand prix jumper circuit. He was a kind stallion, a gorgeous black import who could jump as high as the moon. He lived out his retirement years on his owners' farm in Ocala and I saw him the last time I was there. He looked great. But he lived a good, long and happy life. RIP Graf. See you in heaven.
