The Posthumous Fall of the No Longer Legendary Jimmy Williams
There's been much banter in the horse world recently as the MeToo Movement has hit the upper echelons of the hunter-jumper world as the now-deceased Jimmy Williams has been outed by many of his former students. I have ridden my entire life. English hunter/jumper as an adult and was a rodeo cowgirl in my teens and early adult. Yes, we had our heroes in the Western world, as well. I cannot understand parents - who are entrusted to love and care for their children - wanting to be part of a social circle SO BAD that they would allow this to happen to their children. They are just as guilty as he was/is. It sickens me.
