March Mudness

In Vermont, following winter, there's no spring, just "mud season."  This phenomena has now hit Virginia.  After days of rain, snow, sleet and then more rain, we have just mud.

The horses don't like it.  Owner does not like it much either. Where is spring?  It's late March?  We have birds, hundreds of them here, they are waiting too.......and the groundhog?  What happened to his predictions?
