Meet Apollo, our newest addition to the farm! He arrived yesterday after a long wait (and it was worth it!). He had a rough day, a long trailer ride with his pasture-mate (who had an even rougher day). But he settled in nicely for a not-yet-six-month-old. He'll test the pasture today with Sega who should now have a new purpose in life - taking care of this little one and teaching him the ropes.
He is so cute and sweet and small. Not sure if he'll be gray or roan. Hoping for roan. His daddy is black and mom is gray. He won't be a big guy, under 16 hands for sure but he's all warmblood and ready to settle into his life here in Virginia. More to come! Stay tuned!
